Loving my work-life balance and feeling fulfilled in what I do daily is a crucial component for me to feel happy and centered in my life. After becoming a mom in 2019, I soon realized climbing the corporate ladder is not my heart’s desire anymore. My desire was to be a flexible working mom, and this is how The Talent Room originated.

My corporate journey started as a Psychometrist Intern at Work Dynamics, whereafter I spent 2,5 years as an HR Consultant at Mazars Garden Route. In 2015 I was offered the opportunity to be contracted by BMW SA as a HR Professional.

After 3 years with BMW SA, I decided to specialise in Recruitment by joining a Recruitment agency, Sydsen Recruit as their Recruitment Manager.

I hold an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch and I am a Registered Psychometrist (Independent Practice). I would describe myself as a people’s person who is devoted to helping others. Whether it is to assist a candidate or a client, I always strive to help. I work hard every day in CHOOSING to make decisions that lead to a purpose-driven life.

My name is Lindokuhle Maki, a dynamic and accomplished young professional who holds a Bachelor of Administration degree from the prestigious University of the Free State, conferred in the year 2019.

My career path led me to the exciting realm of recruitment administration, where I thrive on the human element of the job. Witnessing individuals realize their dreams by finding the perfect job is what motivates me daily. Currently, I am proud to be a part of the Talent Room, where I find immense joy in helping individuals carve their professional paths.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I am an avid reader, finding solace and inspiration in the pages of books. I cherish moments spent with loved ones, and I also value the importance of personal reflection during my alone time.

I’m Kelda van Tonder, a dedicated professional with over five years of experience in the recruitment industry. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working across a spectrum of sectors, including the Motor Trade, Financial Industry, Legal, Retail Industry, Housing and Property Industry, and Heavy Industry such as Mining, Construction, and Engineering.

My passion lies in making a positive impact within the recruitment industry. I find immense joy in serving and assisting communities, helping individuals find meaningful employment, and offering clients exceptional customer service by connecting them with the Right Talent to fill their vacancies.

Being a people person, I thoroughly enjoy interacting with individuals from all walks of life. My social nature not only enriches my professional relationships but also plays a pivotal role in successfully placing candidates in roles that align with their skills and aspirations.
